Lights! Camera! Action!
We have been making movies all summer, and we would love for everyone to come and see our film event. All the kids that have attended are sure to be in it! Included will be the documentary about the 15 Year Anniversary Spectacular of Arts Alive! Come and support the work of all the kids!

Important reminders!!!
-Arts Alive!: 15 Year Anniversary Spectacular! (Parent night) is on Thursday, August 12th at 7pm!!! This is the musical review we have been working on all summer long, come and see the show!!!!
-Arts Alive! and Lights!Camera!Action! film camp merged this summer, as most of you know, and so in addition to parent night with our music, we are also having a special showing of our films! It is very special this year because our movies are premiering at the Capitol Theater in downtown Olympia!!!! Sunday, August 15th at 2pm. Please come and see our awesome movies including the documentary of 15 years of Arts Alive!
-The week after the show (Aug 16-20) we are going up to Camp Bishop for an overnight trip on TUESDAY AUGUST 17TH. We will return on WEDNESDAY AUGUST 18TH. If your child does not want to go, camp will be running as usual at Roosevelt on those days. Tomorrow I will have a sign up sheet for kids that are going. Thank you!

Workshop Schedule for Mon July 19
This week's theme is 'Genres'. We will be exploring different genres in music, theater, art and film!!! We will be learning about Reflective art, Pop art, and more! We will learn about different genres of film, like Comedy, Horror, Sci Fi, Western (to name a few) and then we will make some!!! Lots of fun this week!

On Thursday we are going on an extra special field trip to SPSCC to see a production of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! We are also going swimming as usual.
Here is the schedule for that day:
9am- Please have your child at camp by 9am!
9:30-Leave camp for SPSCC
1:10pm- Leave SPSCC to return to camp.
2:30pm- Leave for downtown YMCA
4:15- Leave YMCA, back to camp!!

We are going to the Rollerdrome in Centralia on Tuesday July 6!
Please have your child at camp by 9:30, we will be leaving at 10am!
We will be back by 4pm.
Skates are free, kids have the possibility of upgrading to Rollerblades for $1.
Kids may bring $5 to spend at their own risk!

FIELDTRIP CHANGE!!!!!
Soooo, we thought we were going to the Rollerdrome tomorrow, but WE ARE NOT. Tomorrow, Tuesday June 29th we are going to the Gray's Harbor YMCA Swimming Pool and waterslide!!!!!!
NEXT WEEK on July 6th we are going to the Rollerdrome.
We are very sorry for the confusion. What happened was that the two field trips were switched, but we were not informed!
We hope this hasn't caused too much of an inconvenience, and we can safely say that this will not happen again!
